Warriors, there comes a time when everything around us is falling apart and yet we know in our hearts we must rejoice. To do otherwise would be like imitating that prophet, Jonah who ran from Creator Yahweh and ended up in despair. Running to Creator Yahweh is always the best choice.

When we run to Creator Yahweh, then we can say with the prophet, Habakkuk, “Though the fig tree does not bud and there are no grapes on the vines, though the olive crop fails and the fields produce no food, though there are no sheep in the pen and no cattle in the stalls, yet I will rejoice! Yes. I will rejoice! I will rejoice in the Lord my Savior. The Sovereign Lord is my strength. He makes my feet like the feet of a deer, he enables me to dance on the heights.”
