November 12 water small Warriors, do you want to claim all the fullness of Creator Yahweh’s promises? Do you long to see all the possibilities come to pass? Light the sage and let its pleasing aroma fall over your body, cleansing you from head to toe, then sing your prayers as never before. Pray through each aspect of your circumstances. Lift each moment to our Great Chief and Captain! Then ask for his Spirit power as you fully examine your heart. Let him show you why he has allowed these circumstances to enter your life.

Sometimes he allows pain in order for us to see a deep need that we wouldn’t otherwise, whether for ourselves or for someone else. Other times he allows pain in order to draw us into a deeper relationship with him that we would not have pursued otherwise.

Creator Yahweh is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us. Examine your heart and trust him, warriors, he is faithful.

November 11

November 11 water There was a time, warriors, when we were dead to Spirit power. This is the way we formerly walked on a path that appeared to be smooth but led only into darkness. We were tricked by the ruler of the kingdom of the air. This is the trickster spirit who is alive in all who are disobedient to our Great Chief and Captain. Every one of us once lived among the disobedient at one time, gratifying the cravings of our sinful nature and following its desires and thoughts. We were careless, rebellious and unbelieving, going against the purposes of our Great Chief and Captain.

Some of us ended up following the alcohol way, some of us drank our way into oblivion and yet others of us were eaten alive by anger, allowing bitterness to color every aspect of our lives, destroying our children and loved ones in the process. We were by nature children of God’s wrath and deserving of nothing good.

But our Great Chief and Captain, so incredibly rich in mercy and overflowing with love, reached out to us when we were on that dark path and made us alive in Christ Jesus Yeshua! He birthed us into Spirit power and raised us up with Jesus Yeshua and seated us there with him in the heavenly realms. He did all this in order to demonstrate the incomparable, immeasurable and limitless riches of his free grace given through belief in his son. This unearned and unmerited favor is expressed in his kindness and goodness of heart toward us in Christ Jesus Yeshua.

Let us remain in Spirit power, warriors, even if it means re-climbing the Sacred Mountain, whether in Spirit or in body. Let us leave the clamor and noise of a crazy-making world and tune in to the voice of Creator Yahweh.

November 10

November 10 water Warriors, when was the last time you caught a glimpse of the Spiritual realm? Have you climbed the Sacred Mountain, whether in Spirit or in body, and sat at the feet of your Great Chief and Captain? Have you tasted of the sweet communion Creator Yahweh offers for all who believe? It is in this place of holy communion that we feel a surging wave of joy and hope.

All warriors who claim to follow the Jesus Way must set aside special times and places for quiet communion with our Great Chief and Captain. King David, in the Sacred Writings, looked to the hills whenever he was in the valley. He climbed those hills in Spirit whenever he needed wise council. Daniel, who was held captive, set aside a spiritual place in his small room in order to commune with God. Others could see him and yet he blocked everything out in order to gain strength from his Great Chief and Captain.

We as a spiritual people must return to a life of quietness, prayer, and Sacred Writings. Like David and Daniel, we need to find these places in our everyday lives, making room and time for Creator Yahweh. When we return to a life of spiritual visions and glimpses of heaven, our Great Chief and Captain will once again take us to the mountaintop where we will receive glimpses of heaven. And those glimpses are what we need, warriors, in order to stand firm like good dog soldiers.

November 9 water Warriors, are you broken and battle weary? Do not forget that we are a spiritual people. We need the power of stillness to feed our souls. Creator Yahweh has made us this way, so that we will spend time to get to know him. This is why we climb the Sacred Mountain, whether in body or in Spirit, to get alone with him and hear his voice above all others. There is only one way to know God and that is to “Be still, and know.”

It is when we stop focusing on ourselves that we discover the peace that transcends all understanding. Lift your eyes to the hills. Lift your hearts to the heavens. In these times of solitude we learn the power of silence, the incredible calm before the thundering storm. When we return to our Great Chief and Captain and when we rest in him, we find salvation. In quietness and trust we find our strength.

Weary warrior, Creator Yahweh longs to be gracious to you; he rises to show you compassion. Blessed are all who wait for him!

November 8

November 8 water Warriors let us ascribe justice to Creator Yahweh, our Maker! He is wooing us from the jaws of distress to a spacious, far-seeing place, to the comfort of a table laden with choice food. This is one of the promises we have to look forward to that will not be a day late.

While we are waiting for the fulfillment of the promise, let us be careful that no one entices us with riches. Such a lifestyle may turn us aside from walking in beauty. And when affliction comes, let us beware of turning to evil. Instead, let us climb the Sacred Mountain, whether in Spirit or in body, and seek the face of Creator Yahweh.

How magnificent is our Great Chief and Captain—beyond our understanding! The number of his years is past finding out. We can trust such a One as this. Let us take shelter in the shadow of his wings.

November 7 water Warriors, is there a promise that you feel Creator Yahweh has given you? Have you been waiting a long time to see this promise come to pass? Has he given you glimpses? Have there been times when you felt it was almost in your hands just to have it snatched away at the last minute? Know this, warriors, our Great Chief and Captain is not slow in keeping his promise to you. He is utterly faithful and the fulfillment will not be a day late. Is there anything too hard or too wonderful for Creator Yahweh?

Look at the heavens and see; gaze at the clouds so high above you. If you sin, how does that affect him? If your sins are many, what does that do to him? If you are righteous, what do you give to him? Your wickedness affects only a human like yourself, and your righteousness only the sons and daughters of men.

Let us cry out to Creator Yahweh saying, “Where is God my Maker, who gives songs of rejoicing in the night, who teaches more to us than to the beasts of the earth and makes us wiser than the birds of the air?” Ascribing such glory to our Great Chief and Captain will strengthen our hearts. He delivers the afflicted from their affliction and opens our ears to hear his voice. Be still, warriors, and listen.

November 6

November 6 water This is what Our Great Chief and Captain says, he who created the heavens and stretched them forth, he who spread out the earth and all that comes out of it, he who gives breath to the people of the earth and spirit to those who walk in it: “I, Creator Yahweh, have called you in righteousness; I will take hold of your hand. I will keep you and will make you to be a covenant for the people and a light for the Gentiles, to open eyes that are blind, to free captives from prison and to release from the dungeon those who sit in darkness.”

Warriors, Jesus Yeshua is our covenant. Yes. It means salvation. Yes it means eternity in his light. But it also means much more. It means the opening of blinded eyes, the freeing of those who are captive, the healing of the brokenhearted. The former things have come to pass and now our Great Chief and Captain is declaring new things. He has called us for a righteous purpose.

Let us sing to Creator Yahweh a new song. Let us dance his praise to the ends of the earth!

November 5

November 5 water Warriors, let us rejoice in the hope of the glory of Our Great Chief and Captain! Creator Yahweh is the LORD our God. He takes hold of our right hand and says, “Do not fear; I will help you. Do not be afraid.”

He whispers these words to us even when we feel as if we are no more than a worm, when we are small and insignificant in comparison to our enemies, when we walk dark paths with little light to brighten our way. His breath blows across the mountains and valleys and enters our souls, giving hope where all was lost.

It is then, in our darkest of dark places, that our Great Chief and Captain declares that he will help us. We have reason to hope and reason to rejoice. Our Redeemer is Creator Yahweh and we know that he lives, not only in the air that we breathe but also within our very souls.

November 4

November 4 water Warriors, we know that if we continually surrender ourselves to anyone to do his will, then we are the slaves of the one we are surrendering to, whether that be to our enemy, that evil trickster, or to obedience to Creator Yahweh. But we no longer need to surrender ourselves to sin, because our relation to it is broken. We are now alive to God and living in unbroken fellowship with Our Great Chief and Captain in Christ Jesus Yeshua.

Praise our Great Chief and Captain, though we were once slaves of sin and wrong-doing, we have now become obedient with all our hearts to a life of love. This is because we have been set free from sin and have become servants of our Great Chief and Captain.

This does not mean that we never commit a wrong, but it does mean that we are daily being conformed to his divine will in thought, purpose and action. This life is available to us, not only on the Sacred Mountain, but in every aspect of our lives.

November 3

November 3 water Warriors, we have been justified through faith, and we have peace with our Great Chief and Captain through Creator Yahweh. It is through him that we have gained access by faith into this grace by which we stand. This grace covers all our wrong doing! This is because we have died to sin.

What shall we say about all this? Shall we go on living our old way of life, doing whatever we want in spite of the consequences? No! We put to death our old lives when we were baptized into the life of Christ.

The hallmark of a warrior of Christ is still obedience! But we are no longer obligated to be obedient to the law of Moses. Now we are obedient to the law of Creator Yahweh. And his law is summed up in two commands: Love God and love others. It is a good thing to give our lives to him each day as we step out on the Blessing Way. He is changing us from the inside out.
