February 10 Aaron flute There is a time, warriors, when we must confess our betrayal—telling the truth to the One who already knows it all. This is the act of our betrayal—the thoughts that are less than pleasing to Creator Yahweh; the actions that speak of an attachment to evil; the unlove that invades our souls; the lack of faith with which we betray ourselves.

Though Creator Yahweh knows our every thought before we think it, there is a healing that happens through our confession. And though we may expect rightfully earned condemnation, Creator Yahweh gives us love instead.

Get close to the earth, sit still, and wait, until you are aware of the washing of the Holy Spirit spreading throughout your body, quickening the deadest members and rebirthing hope. Let this awareness swell up inside of you until it bubbles over in waves of joy.

February 9 water small Warrior, do you know how important it is to take time each day to be still before Creator Yahweh? Pray. Read the Sacred Scriptures, and then close your eyes and let him work the healing process. Offer every part of your body to the One who breathed life into your lungs.

There is a place for man’s medicine, but the soul of you needs much more. Feel his life-giving breath trickling into your fingers and toes, then back out again, running up your arms and legs, crossing through your loins and chest and coming to rest in your bruised and battered heart. No drug can match the wonder of this healing caress. No heat can match its soothing breath. He is your Creator and Father, and he loves you more than any human ever can.

February 8 water Warriors, have you considered how great is Creator Yahweh? He is beyond our understanding, yet closer than a blood brother. He calls us by our secret name that only He knows. Creator Yahweh has journeyed to the springs of the sea and walked in the recesses of the deep. He is the One who bound the beautiful Pleiades and loosed the cords of Orion. He brought forth the constellations in their seasons and led out the Bear with its cubs.

When you gaze into the stars, warriors, think about this amazing love, this amazing Creator. Who am I, oh my Great Chief and Captain, that you would pay mind of me? Yahweh. Yahweh. Yahweh.

February 7 water small Warriors, do you find yourself in a world of gray asphalt and concrete, where people come and go without notice of the scent of green on the wind? Neither do they take heed of the gift of warmth from the sun that pierces through the clouded sky?

Stop! Take a moment to see Creator Yahweh in the unexpected places. Take time to remember the One who shut up the sea behind doors when it burst forth from the womb. Creator Yahweh said, “This far you may come and no farther; here is where your proud waves halt.” Take heart, warriors, the One who commands the waves is able to keep you in his mighty hand. When you focus on him, the world of gray disappears.

February 6 try In 2009 the VA called and just so matter of fact over a phone simply said, “You have Hodgkin’s.” I can’t explain the shock. But after a million things ran through my head, I began to tell my wife that we can get through this. We have our Lord and He’s a healing Father. So what do we do? We take it to prayer. What loss have you experienced? Take it to Creator Yahweh. He cares. Creator Yahweh is bigger! Creator Yahweh is beyond!

Note: Ghostdancer Shadley walked closely with his Great Chief and Captain through the increasing pain that led up to his death in May of 2013. His wife, Diana, stood beside him the entire time. The last days before he went to be with Creator Yahweh, he raised his arms to the sky and sang Bill Miller’s song, “Ghostdance” over and over again…“I’m a mighty warrior and I’m finally going home.”

Right up to his last moments walking this earth, Ghostdancer was a blessing to everyone who entered his presence. We are glad that his teachings and words continue here on Facebook and that they touch so many hearts as they do ours. He is a wonderful example of walking the Jesus Way.

February 5 water What pain are you in, warrior? Death and illness and the loss of dreams have a way of halting a human’s purpose. It’s easy to wonder for what purpose have we been set here in this time and place. Is there a reason beyond our own understanding?

Suffering reminds us that time is short, that what we hold dear will soon be gone. Yet, even when our hearts fail us we can still soar on eagle wings, for few can walk with a haughty step when sorrow bends the shoulders. Creator Yahweh has a reason beyond our own understanding, and He promises peace beyond as well. Take it to prayer.

Take it to Creator Yahweh. He knows. He understands…even when we do not.

February 4 water My heart jumps at the realization that my Great Chief and Captain is my life and light. No darkness can hide his Light; no walls are strong enough to keep him away, even when I hear the echo of the evil one’s footsteps through the dark night. The Sacred Scriptures give me strength where once I was weak. Wisdom from my own people weaves itself through the words.

There was a time our people walked in the true way, the way of walking in beauty, the way of Creator, Yahweh. Long before white people brought fences and walls to this land. This is the true strength of the warrior, not with shield and sword, but with a heart bursting with strong medicine and filled with the Spirit of Creator Yahweh. With this assurance you can feel Creator Yahweh’s presence in any and all dark places, the places that are able to rob you of your soul if you allow it.

The choice is yours—walk in beauty—or walk in darkness.

February 3 water Warriors, this is how we know we are still walking the way of beauty, that we belong to the truth, and how we set our hearts at rest in Creator Yahweh’s presence: If our hearts condemn us, we know that Creator Yahweh is greater than our hearts, and he knows everything.

Warriors, if our hearts do not condemn us, we have confidence before Creator Yahweh and receive from him anything we ask, because we keep his commands and do what pleases him. And his command is simple: to believe in the name of his Son, Jesus Christ, Yeshua, and to love one another as he commanded us. The one who continues on the way of beauty and keeps Creator Yahweh’s commands lives in him, and he in them. And this is how we know that he lives in us: We know it by the Spirit he gave us. Yahweh. Yahweh. Yahweh. Holy is his name!

February 2 water Stay strong warriors! Continue in faith and keep walking in the Spirit Way. I am writing to you, dear children, because your wrongdoing has been forgiven on account of his name. I am writing to you, fathers, because you know him who is from the beginning. I am writing to you, young warriors, because you have overcome the evil one.

Stay strong! Creator Yahweh is the One of whom the disciples said, “That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked at and our hands have touched—this we proclaim concerning the Word of Life.

The Life appeared! We have seen it and testify to it, and we proclaim to you the eternal Life, which was with the Father and has appeared to us. We proclaim to you what we have seen and heard, so that you also may have fellowship with us. And our fellowship is with the Father and with his Son, Jesus Christ Yeshua. We write this to make our joy complete.”

Stay strong, warriors, and continue walking in the Spirit Way.

February 1 water small Choosing to walk in beauty, warriors, means that you can dance, without feathers or music, in a cell with hard stone for a floor, or completely in the recesses of your mind. You can dance your prayers to Creator Yahweh, knowing he accepts them for what they are—a true offering of praise and love for the One who has given you life. Even when your old, weak legs no longer work, you can close your eyes and dance.

Listen to Creator Yahweh’s drum beat as stone walls fall away and you are transported through a vision to open fields where you dance with all your might. Let the smell of ripe grain and sweet tobacco wrap itself around you, replacing despair with hope and strengthening your body with courage.

When at last you close your eyes and lay on your bed, your thoughts will turn to wonder. If you had never tasted such bitterness; if you had never fallen into the deep pit, you may have missed the sweetness of a soul set free. Now you are ready for whatever battle waits ahead. Ultimately that battle is in Creator Yahweh’s hands, and he is forever faithful. Let such knowledge carry your heart into peaceful rest.
