January 10 Creator Yahweh gives wisdom, and from his mouth come knowledge and understanding. Victory is in store for us if we continue walking the Beauty Way, because Jesus Yeshua is a shield to those who walk in integrity. He will guard our course and protect the path of his faithful ones.

Walking this way, we will understand what is right and just and fair. Yes! We will see every good path. For wisdom will enter our hearts and knowledge will be as sweet incense to our souls. Discretion will watch over us and understanding will continue to protect us. This is the path of Creator Yahweh. May we delight in the course he has set before us.

January 9 water Warriors, if we accept the words of Creator Yahweh and hide his commands as treasure in the deepest part of our hearts, turning our ears to wisdom and making it our goal to gain understanding; if we raise our voices and call out for insight and cry aloud for understanding, and if we search for wisdom as we would for silver and search for it as though it were a hidden treasure, then we will understand what it means to maintain reverence to our Great Chief and Captain, and we will discover knowledge of the ONE who created us.

This knowledge will protect us from our enemy, that evil trickster, and will guard our hearts when we are weak.

This is the wisdom that comes through Holy Spirit Power. When we called out on Creator Yahweh for deliverance this power was placed in our hearts. This power is in us, warriors, waiting to be released. Let us make it our goal to serve our Great Chief and Captain to the end of our days.

January 8 water Wisdom calls aloud in the streets, she raises her voice among the elders, and in the councils she makes her voice heard. There is ONE who is above us. One who created all things seen and unseen. This ONE is our Great Chief and Captain. If he rebukes us because we have strayed from walking the good way, then it is good for us to listen and obey his voice. Whoever does not listen will be swept away in a whirlwind of distress and trouble.

Creator Yahweh stands ready to pour out his heart of love over us and offers to make his thoughts known to us. This is wisdom, to listen and obey the voice of Creator Yahweh. It may come as a whisper in the night or as a shout from the mountains. Whoever listens will be at ease, without fear of harm.

Yes. We will still have trouble in this world, but Jesus Yeshua will walk with us through the trouble and it will not sweep us away.

January 7 water Warriors, it is good for us to manage our lives in a way that will work, doing what is right and just and fair. We gain knowledge and instruction as we grow in the grace and knowledge of Creator Yahweh. This knowledge comes through diligent study of the Sacred Writings and listening to the wisdom of respected elders. Reverence and worship of our Great Chief and Captain is the beginning of wisdom.

Let us not be led astray by people who do wrong and who entice us with the promise of “belonging.” Many of us went down this path when we were young. Now we must warn our young people of what is right and what is wrong.

It is enough to belong to the brotherhood of our people who have been adopted into the family of Creator Yahweh. Let us listen to the instruction of wise fathers and not forsake the teaching of our mothers. These teachings will be like a fragrant garland around our necks and a fine headdress upon our heads. Walking in wisdom will keep our feet on the Beauty Way.

January 6 water We always thank our Creator Yahweh for you warriors, lighting the sage and lifting you up in our prayers. We continually remember before our Great Chief and Captain your work among our people that produces much faith. And we have not forgotten the love that flows from Jesus Yeshua through you to us. What a joy to see your endurance inspired by hope in Creator Yahweh.

Brothers and sisters you are loved by our Great Chief and Captain. Never forget this. He has chosen you! You have received the good news not only with words, but also with Holy Spirit power and with deep conviction.

Continue in the Beauty Way, becoming imitators of Jesus Yeshua, just as your ancestors did in spite of severe suffering. Receive the message with Holy Spirit joy! In this way you will become a model to all the believers among us.

january 5 water Warriors, shame is the nemesis that plagues recovering people, and many of us are in the recovering stage. When we were children we learned to hide certain parts of ourselves. When these parts became overly dependent or independent, full of rage, too playful, too full of will, or too free, too curious, too spiritually knowing, or too imaginative they were rejected by those upon whom we relied to feed, clothe and protect us.

So what could we do but push them down?

That is why it is important to know and learn the Sacred Writings. Because as we deal with this inner child, we can replace the lies we have long believed with the truth of the Word of our Great Chief and Captain! It is then we can also receive healing from Holy Spirit along with forgiveness for any wrongs we actually committed. This is the path toward restoration.

January 3, 2016

january 3 water Warriors, are you having trouble letting go of the past? Yes. There are many things for which our spirits yearn. We desire the return of the ancient ways when our lives revolved around creation and one another, where we worked in community and shared all good things. Yet often in our remembering we forget that the evil trickster also walked those paths and that the human condition touched our people with pride and brokenness just as it does the rest of the human race. So, if we remember the past, we must remember both the good and the bad.

Let us consider a better way. A way of holding onto the good of the ancient ways and moving forward to a more desirable and beautiful village…the village for which our hearts yearn and groan in expectation. This is the village that Jesus Yeshua is preparing for us and it lies before not behind.

If we are homesick for the old way of life, then we will have opportunity to return to it, but there is a much better place toward which we journey and we must move toward it with all diligence! This means we move forward wholly, speedily and with all eagerness. Let us do this together as we serve our Great Chief and Captain with our whole hearts. This is the beauty of walking the Jesus Way.

january 2 water Take note warriors! Forget the former things! Do not dwell on the past. Our Great Chief and Captain is doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? Creator Yahweh is making a way in the desert and streams in the wasteland to give refreshment to his people, the people he formed for himself.

Do not fear the violent days we are living in. The evil trickster may inspire men to kill our bodies but they cannot touch our souls, the place where the Spirit of Creator Yahweh dwells. Today is the day of salvation. Today is the day Creator has given us.

What step can you take toward making the world a better place this day? Is there an elder you need to check on? Is there a cousin in need of a word of encouragement? Is there a stranger in need of a smile? Are there people in need of your prayers? Let us walk the Beauty Way and make the most of every opportunity.

January 1, 2016

Jan 1 Warriors, we begin a new year, sometimes with enthusiasm and sometimes with dread. Often we have no idea of where we are to go or what we are to do. Yet we have a mission here on earth and it is also one that we share with the rest of the human race. But it is no less our individual mission, given to each of us by our Great Chief and Captain.

Our mission is this…while we are doing and while we are going…we are to do what we can moment by moment day by day, step by step to make the world a better place. We do this by following the leading and guidance of God’s Spirit within us and around us. For not only has our great Chief and Captain placed his Holy Spirit within us, but we also live and move and have our being in Him.

This is an amazing thing warriors, and we will not fully understand it until we are clothed in glory standing before Creator Yahweh. He has given us the strength we need to walk the Beauty Way. It is our choice to take the first step.
