In view of Creator Yahweh’s great mercies that are renewed every morning, or simply because of all that he has done for you, warriors, present your body, mind, spirit and soul to him. Honor him as your Great Chief and Captain! Give him control of your life every morning as the sun rises over the hill. Continue giving control to him as the sun walks its path across the heavens, being holy devoted and consecrated to please him.

Pleasing Creator Yahweh is not difficult warriors. Though his ways are much higher than ours, and his thoughts beyond our understanding, his commands are simple and he gives us Spirit power to follow them. He does not weigh us down with many rules, but simply asks that we obey him by loving him first and then loving others.

You have died with Christ to the claims of the spiritual forces of this world, so do not live as if you still belong to the dark path. Encourage your heart with words of truth so you will not become disheartened. Creator Yahweh has called you to a unique task. You do not need anyone else to qualify you. Through his grace, he will give you every good and perfect gift needed to complete the journey. Creator Yahweh has filled you with his Spirit.

Do not set aside the grace of Creator Yahweh, for if righteousness could be gained through anything other than the cross, then Yeshua died for nothing.

Standing firm will be difficult, warriors, impossible without the strength Creator Yahweh gives, because many brothers and sisters will turn aside and not tolerate sacred instruction. Instead, they will chase after teachers and healers who satisfy the desires of their hearts for a season. But when trouble and calamity come, their souls will be empty and their courage will leave like a bird in flight.

Guard your hearts, warriors. Stand firm on the sacred truth. So when your time of crossing over arrives you will be able to say that you fought the good fight and finished the journey well, holding firmly to the faith Creator Yahweh placed in your heart.

Love Yeshua with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind and with all your strength. Long for his appearing like a bride on the eve of her wedding, for he will appear! And the time will be very soon.

Have you lost sight of the goal, warriors? Has the enemy of our souls convinced you that such a prize is unreachable? Cha-aat! Tell him to stand back! All you need is one glimpse of Creator Yahweh’s face. He rides on the wings of the wind, coming from that far off place to meet with you.

Listen! The thunder of Creator Yahweh’s voice rings through the heavens! He will draw you out of the water. He will deliver you from certain death and set you on your feet. Earth will become solid and strong beneath your feet until you borrow its strength and it becomes your own.

Wait for Creator Yahweh. He will come. Indeed, he is already here, right in the depths of your heart. Let his deep, unquenchable love fill every part of you, restoring your soul and replacing despair with hope. Yahweh. Yahweh. Yahweh. Let his whispered command fill your ears, “Stand firm I AM with you.”

Yes, warriors, in this world you will have trouble, but in the spiritual realm, the place where eternal battles are won, Creator Yahweh covers you with his feathers. Spend time there, as you take refuge beneath his wings. Let his faithfulness, which remains even when we are faithless, be your shield and rampart.

If you do this in the spiritual realm, then his peace will follow you back to this world, and you will not fear the terror of padding feet at night, nor the arrow that flies by day, nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness, nor the plague that destroys at noon. These things may strike down this body but they cannot touch the soul, that part of us that flies on eagle’s wings. Let your soul find rest in Creator Yahweh alone. He alone is your rock and your salvation. Trust in him at all times. Pour out your heart to him.

Warriors, a day will come when we will look back and see that during those times when we were weak and our hearts were full of sorrow, that Creator Yahweh carried us on eagle’s wings. If we would but rest in him we might know the supreme joy of such flight even in the midst of great trial. This is not the joy that bubbles up in laughter, but the joy that wells deep in our souls and brings a glimmer of hope. Hope is like faith, based on real evidence and sure as if the thing sought has already been realized.

This joy we can hang onto, this hope, this faith, because the One who gives it is our Savior, Jesus, Yeshua. He is the Creator who has given us all good things as well as a hope and a future, an eternity free of sorrow and pain. In this world we will have trouble, but take heart, Creator Yahweh has overcome the world.

Yesterday, I mentioned that sometimes Creator Yahweh’s help comes in the strangest forms. My first help came in a way I least expected. Creator Yahweh tells a story of this kind of help where a man was robbed and left to die along the side of the road. All the people you would expect to help passed him by, but the last person in the world you would have thought would help, not only stopped, but lifted the broken man to his own donkey and walked him to a safe place. There he paid for his lodging and meals until the broken man was able to get on his feet again.

My first help came when I was ready to end it all, through a stepfather I had hated with everything in me. He not only got in his truck and drove many long miles to get me, but he did so with one leg, since he had been very recently released from the hospital.

Don’t be surprised, warriors, if your help comes from such an unexpected place. Bask in the peace that only Creator Yahweh can give. Receive the healing that reaches past skin and bones!

In today’s Eagle People reading, Creator Yahweh tells us about a man who had two sons. One stayed home and was obedient and faithful to his father while the youngest took his share of his father’s estate and went off and squandered it. But, one day, he came to his senses. Have you experienced a day like that in your life? Where you came to your senses? Where you realized that you were wallowing with the pigs?

I know this life. I once walked the way of deep sorrow. Then I came to my senses and began calling out to Creator Yahweh. Day after day, I called out to Creator Yahweh and never gave up. I walked the land and holy ground below the Sacred Mountain and called his name. I cried. I pleaded. And finally, he heard my cry and I began to crawl down the way of faithfulness, a broken, battered Vietnam vet, but moving forward in the love of my Great Chief and Captain.

Walk on, warriors. Crawl on! Slowly though it may be. Creator Yahweh does not stay up on the Sacred Mountain. He is very near. He hears your cry for mercy.

There is a time, warriors, when we must confess our betrayal—telling the truth to the One who already knows it all. This is the act of our betrayal—the thoughts that are less than pleasing to Creator Yahweh; the actions that speak of an attachment to evil; the unlove that invades our souls; the lack of faith with which we betray ourselves.

Though Creator Yahweh knows our every thought before we think it, there is a healing that happens through our confession. And though we may expect rightfully earned condemnation, Creator Yahweh gives us love instead.

Get close to the earth, sit still, and wait, until you are aware of the washing of the Holy Spirit spreading throughout your body, quickening the deadest members and rebirthing hope. Let this awareness swell up inside of you until it bubbles over in waves of joy.

Warriors, have you considered how great is Creator Yahweh? He is beyond our understanding, yet closer than a blood brother. He calls us by our secret name that only He knows. Creator Yahweh has journeyed to the springs of the sea and walked in the recesses of the deep. He is the One who bound the beautiful Pleiades and loosed the cords of Orion. He brought forth the constellations in their seasons and led out the Bear with its cubs.

When you gave into the stars, warriors, think about this amazing love, this amazing Creator. Who am I, oh my Great Chief and Captain, that you would pay mind of me? Yahweh. Yahweh. Yahweh.
