Do not forget, Warriors, that the Law found in the Sacred Writings is perfect. Through it, our tired, thirsty souls are revived and restored. We are brought back to life! We can trust the testimony of our Great Chief and Captain. It is sure, making wise the simple. His teachings for personal conduct are completely right. When we follow them our heart is full of rejoicing!

It is good to hold reverent fear when we read the precepts of our Great Chief and Captain. Such holy fear makes us clean and endures forever. The ordinances decreed by Creator Yahweh are always completely right. By following them we live a more honest life.

The laws and precepts of our Great Chief and Captain warn us when we are about to make a choice that will leave us walking the Sorrow Way. They remind us of what is good and right and true and just. They give light to all our dark places and reveal a future and a hope. We would do well to desire these things more than riches and prosperity for they will bring true sweetness into our lives.
