Warriors, are you broken and battle weary? Do not forget that we are a spiritual people. We need the power of stillness to feed our souls. Creator Yahweh has made us this way, so that we will spend time to get to know him. This is why we climb the Sacred Mountain, whether in body or in Spirit, to get alone with him and hear his voice above all others. There is only one way to know God and that is to “Be still, and know.”
It is when we stop focusing on ourselves that we discover the peace that transcends all understanding. Lift your eyes to the hills. Lift your hearts to the heavens. In these times of solitude we learn the power of silence, the incredible calm before the thundering storm. When we return to our Great Chief and Captain and when we rest in him, we find salvation. In quietness and trust we find our strength.
Weary warrior, Creator Yahweh longs to be gracious to you; he rises to show you compassion. Blessed are all who wait for him!
