Many mighty warriors have fallen and been laid to rest. We cry and we mourn because of our great loss, and that is an honorable thing, but do we ponder this in our hearts…that merciful and faithful warriors are taken away to escape the evil that is coming our way. Those who walk with Creator Yahweh leave the cares and troubles of this world and enter into peace when they take their last breath. They enter through heaven’s gate hearing the words, “Well done, good and faithful servant.”
This is because our Great Chief and Captain lives in a high and lofty place far above the stars; He inhabits eternity and his name is Holy. Without him was nothing made that was made. He is the Creator of all things. But he also lives within our hearts. He is with the lowly and contrite in heart. He will revive the spirits of warriors who feel faint and are nearly consumed. He also revives the hearts of warriors who are bruised with sorrow for a mountain of wrongs. He will guide us and restore peace and comfort to us, creating praise on the lips of those who now mourn.
Stand firm, mighty warriors. We are called as a unique people to serve Creator Yahweh with all our heart and strength. Sorrow follows us through the night but joy comes in the morning.
